Mutiny Vapors is a retail vape shop located in Goose Creek, SC. The concept behind the logo design, collateral, and retail space was based on a mixture of nautical colors and steam-punk textures. The logo was created first by hand and then refined digitally. The sweeping tails represent the sea while the emphasis on the “t” represents both a ship’s mast and the proximity of the store’s location to Charleston “the holy city”. Explorations of the color scheme resulted in this nautical teal color and strong accents of copper which is not only a steam-punk classic but also a material used in the manufacturing of items sold in the shop. These colors as well as rustic pallet wood to symbolize old ships were used throughout the retail space design.
