In 2019, After 5 years of only designing for wood tile printing, Mirth Studio began working on a new product line of porcelain tiles. The design process began with a hand-painted section by Artist/Painter Sally Bennet and then was digitally photographed, edited, aligned, color corrected, and formatted for production. The goal was to keep as much of the hand-painted texture as possible and to also incorporate wood grain as a textural element for a more earthy look. The result - stunning color and texture unlike anything in the current porcelain market!
